Mr. Wesley A. Gordon is a Managing Director at Robertson Stephens Advisors LLC.
He supports our direct investments group.
Continuing firms legacy of connecting investors to great growth organizations, he develops investment opportunities in top tier venture-backed companies emerging out of Silicon Valley.
Mr. Gordon has over nine years of experience building networks of high net worth individuals and institutional investors.
He is responsible for communicating his group’s developments to our clients.
Prior to joining Robertson Stephens in October 2015, he was at ROTH Capital Partners Venture Finance Group where he headed the group’s New York City office.
Before Roth Capital Partners he was a Senior Vice President at Advanced Equities, Inc., New York office.
In both of these roles, Mr. Gordon acted as a placement agent for mid- to late-stage venture financing rounds for private VC-backed technology companies.
He began his career as an Associate in the Private Client Group for Laidlaw & Company (UK) Ltd.
He holds a BA in English from Colgate University.
