Descrizione dell'attività: Banco Santander, S.A.

Banco Santander, S.A. è il più grande gruppo bancario spagnolo. L'attività è organizzata in tre settori:
- banca commerciale: attività bancarie al dettaglio e servizi finanziari specializzati (prestiti al consumo, mutui, ecc.);
- banca d'investimento, finanziaria e di mercato: finanziamenti classici e specializzati (finanziamento di acquisizioni, progetti, ecc.), ingegneria finanziaria (consulenza su fusioni e acquisizioni, transazioni azionarie, ecc;
- gestione patrimoniale e private banking. Il gruppo sviluppa anche attività di assicurazione bancaria attraverso Santander Seguros e Banesto Seguros.
Alla fine del 2024, il gruppo gestiva 1.055,9 miliardi di euro di depositi correnti e 1.054,1 miliardi di euro di crediti correnti.
I prodotti e i servizi sono commercializzati attraverso una rete di 8.011 filiali in tutto il mondo.
