Telecom Italia S.p.A. è il primo operatore di telecomunicazioni italiano. Il fatturato (al netto delle attività di prossima cessione) per attività è ripartito come segue:
- servizi di telecomunicazione (91,8%): servizi di telefonia fissa, di telefonia mobile, di trasmissione dati, di accesso a Internet, ecc.;
- produzione e vendita di materiale per ufficio e terminali (8,2%; Olivetti): stampanti digitali, fax, terminali (per giochi, voto elettronico, ecc.).
La ripartizione geografica del fatturato è la seguente: Italia (72,9%) e Brasile (27,1%).
