Andreas Bolstad Povlsen

Mr. Povlsen is a Managing Director and Head of the Maritime Funds team at Hayfin.
Prior to joining Hayfin, Mr. Povlsen was at Breakwater Capital who were in an exclusive partnership with Hayfin since 2014.
Mr. Povlsen established Breakwater Capital and Celsius Shipping in 2011 and served as Breakwater’s Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to establishing Breakwater, Mr. Povlsen was President of Delphin Shipping, a New York based investment vehicle focused on the maritime sector backed by Kelso & Co. Previously Mr. Povlsen was a Managing Director at BTMU Capital Corporation (Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi), where he was responsible for the implementation of their global shipping platform.
Prior to BTMU, Mr. Povlsen was a General Manager with A.P.
Moller Maersk.
Mr. Povlsen served in the Royal Danish Air Force and graduated from Copenhagen Business School with a BA in Economics and studied Psychology at Copenhagen University.
