Kitchel was previously employed as a Founder & Portfolio Manager by Millrace Asset Group, Inc. He is a registered investment advisor with 23 years of research and investment in small cap companies, he managed both long/short and long-only strategies.
Prior to joining Chilton Trust, he co-founded Millrace Asset Group in 2001, where he served as Co-Founder, President and portfolio manager.
fter beginning his career as an analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions at Blyth Eastman Paine Webber, he held equity research and portfolio management positions at MFS, Alex Brown and Greenville Capital before establishing Millrace.
He earned his MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and his BA at the University of Virginia.
