Mr. Charles P.
Harbin is a Managing Director, Co-Head & Portfolio Manager at Heitman Real Estate Securities LLC.
He is responsible for overseeing the investments and trading of Heitman’s Real Estate Securities group, as well as US portfolio management duties and covering the US industrial, self-storage, and office sectors.
He joined Heitman’s Public Real Estate Securities group in 2009 and was most recently a US Portfolio Manager, where he was responsible for portfolio management, including fundamental company and market analysis, as well as risk management.
Previously, Mr. Harbin worked at Deutsche Bank/RREEF as a Senior Analyst/Vice President, where he developed long/short equity and debt investments for its multi-strategy, multi-asset class hedge fund.
He has also held Analyst roles at Renascent Capital Management and Prebon Yamane.
He received a BA in Economics with honors from Sewanee – The University of the South and is a CFA charterholder.
