David Cohen

Mr. David Cohen is General Partner at Carmel Ventures Ltd. Mr. David Cohen joined Gemini in 1998 from the accounting firm ZS & Co, where he spent five years as a Senior Manager, responsible for a client list that included publicly traded and large enterprises.
At Gemini, Mr. Cohen oversees all the operational, financial and administrative aspects of the firm.
To stay in touch with the realities of early stage companies, Mr. Cohen is an Observer on the Board of Impliant, a Gemini portfolio company.
Mr. Cohen works closely with Gemini’s financial, tax and legal advisors who are involved in all aspects of financing and monitoring the early-stage ventures backed by Gemini, as well as reporting to the Fund’s Limited Partners.
He has contributed to several committees of the Israel Venture Association, focusing on diverse matters related to the venture capital industry in Israel.
He is considered one of the leading experts in Israeli venture capital on Limited Partner tax issues and fund structures.
Mr. Cohen holds a BA in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, from Tel Aviv Business College, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
He is a CPA and a member of the Israeli Certified Public Accountants Chamber.
