Lamond Capital Partners seeks to invest primarily, but not exclusively, in the publicly-traded equity securities of technology-related issuers. Their funds seek to achieve their investment objective by constructing a portfolio of long and short positions in the stocks of primarily US-listed companies. The funds also invest in the stocks of non-US listed companies. These non-US investments may include securities in companies located in emerging markets. In addition, derivative instruments, such as options, forward contracts and swaps, may be used to attempt to hedge long and short stock positions, as well as for investment purposes.
