Donna Skerrett

Donna L.
Skerrett is currently serving as the Council Chairman-Transfusion Services at the New York State Department of Health since 2007.
She is also a Member of the American Society of Hematology and the National Marrow Donor Program.
In addition, she holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. since 2019.
Previously, Dr. Skerrett held the position of Chairman at the New York State Council On Blood & Transfusion Services.
She also served as the Associate Director at The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York.
From 1999 to 2004, she worked as the Associate Director-Transfusion Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Later, from 2004 to 2011, she was the Director-Transfusion Medicine & Cellular Therapy at Weill Cornell Medical College and Weill Cornell Medical Center.
She also held the position of Director at the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine and The Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Additionally, she served as the Chief Medical Officer at Mesoblast, Inc. and Mesoblast Ltd. from 2004 to 2019.
Dr. Skerrett completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
She pursued her graduate degree at the Mailman School of Public Health and obtained her doctorate from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
