Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee is a nonprofit youth organization serving approximately 9,000 young people ages 5 to 18 across 14 club locations in Davidson, Williamson, and surrounding Middle Tennessee counties. The organization provides year-round, neighborhood-based programs focused on academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles. For a $25 annual membership, youth access safe, supportive environments with trained staff and volunteers offering curriculum-based activities that promote literacy, personalized learning, physical activity, stress management, and positive behavior. Offerings include teen programming with after-school drop-in centers, summer skill-building, industry clubs for career exposure, a Best Buy Teen Tech Center with advanced technology, culinary arts workforce training, and college and career development initiatives such as ACT prep and leadership recognition through Youth of the Year. The organization also launched the "Mental Health Matters" initiative to provide tailored digital resources and foster open conversations about mental health among youth, parents, and staff. Community involvement is encouraged through volunteering, corporate partnerships, alumni associations, and various giving options. Eric D. Higgs has been the CEO of the company since 2020.
