Janet Yale

Janet Yale is currently the President & Chief Executive Officer at The Arthritis Society since 2012.
She is also a Director at Business for the Arts, Samara Canada, and a Member at the Information Technology Association of Canada.
In addition, she is a Member at the Ontario Bar Association and the Ottawa Centre for Research & Innovation since 1983.
Ms. Yale has previously served as the Chairman at United Way Centraide Ottawa and The National Arts Centre.
She was also the Director at The Ottawa Art Gallery and an Independent Director at MCAP Corp.
From 2003 to 2010, she held the position of Executive Vice President-Corporate Affairs at TELUS Corp.
She was a Senior Vice President at AT&T Canada Corp.
from 1992 to 1999.
Ms. Yale has also been involved with organizations such as the Canadian Film Centre, The Ottawa Hospital, Canadian Cable Television Association, and Great Canadian Theatre Co.Ms. Yale completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University in 1975.
She then pursued a graduate degree at the University of Toronto in 1976.
She later obtained another undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in 1981.
