Joe Morrison

Mr. Joe Morrison is Vice President at Moody's Investors Service (Hong Kong) Ltd. Mr. Morrison was previously a Vice President, Senior Analyst with the Corporate Finance Group at Moody’s Investors Service in New York, where he was responsible for the ratings of both high yield and investment grade companies in the Packaging and Services sectors.
Prior to joining Moody's in 2005, he held positions as a credit analyst in both global commercial banking and at an international broker-dealer, where he performed credit analysis and valued bank loans and corporate bonds of investment grade, high yield, and distressed companies.
He has experience with a wide-ranging group of industries, including Diversified Industrials, Aerospace & Defense, Paper & Forest Products, Chemicals, Consumer Products, Packaged Foods, and Telecommunications.
Before embarking on his career as a credit analyst, he represented small and medium-sized manufacturers in marketing industrial equipment and technology abroad and has extensive experience in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Korea.
Mr. Morrison has an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University, an MA in East Asian Languages and Cultures from the University of Kansas, and a certificate in Chinese History from Nankai University in Tianjin, China.
Joe speaks English and Mandarin Chinese and has a working knowledge of Cantonese Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
He is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), and the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts (HKSFA).
