John Lee Sharpe

John Lee Sharpe was Chairman of Empire Resorts, Inc. from May 2005 to March 2009 and a Director from August 2003 to March 2009.
Most recently, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, from which he retired in 1999 after 23 years of service.
Mr. Sharpe is a former Trustee of the Culinary Institute of America and former Chair of the Industry Advisory Council at the Cornell Hotel School.
Previously, he served as Executive-in-Residence at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, as Chairman of the Board of Governors for Ryerson University and as Co-Chair of the American Hotel Foundation, Washington D.C.
Mr. Sharpe received a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
