Thurwanger, CFA, is a Founder & Chief Investment Officer at Eagle Bluffs Wealth Management LLC.
He is passionate about helping people build paths to their dreams through prudent, independent financial analysis, financial planning, investment/portfolio management, and financial education.
He has over 15 years of experience managing investments with a very strong track record of performance.
Before founding Eagle Bluffs Wealth Management, he was the Chief Investment Officer for a regional bank’s Wealth Management department in Columbia, MO for over 8 years.
During his tenure, the department grew from under $350 million in assets to over $850 million in assets and over 700 relationships.
Prior to holding that position, he was a Portfolio Manager at one of the largest global wealth managers while he lived in Los Angeles for over 6 years, where he served a dual role: managing his client’s portfolios and the client relationships as a whole.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in business from Iowa State University in 2004; he also studied at the University of Newcastle in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia in 2003.
He received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
