His academic achievements comprise an MA in Economics from the Terry College of Business of the University of Georgia, USA, as well as a business degree from the University of Bielefeld and a doctorate in finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
He also lectures in international finance and asset management at the University of Basel and at the TUM in Munich.
