Richard Geisman

Prior to joining Heflin & Co. in 2010, Mr. Geisman served as Chief Operating Officer at Ledgemont Capital Markets from 2008 until 2009.
Prior to Ledgemont, he was a Managing Director at Quadriserv.
Quadriserv is a venture company that has built an equity securities lending ATS (Alternative Trading System) with strategic partners Merrill Lynch and Renaissance Technologies.
At Quadriserv, Mr. Geisman served various roles including Head of Sales and took an active part in product development, strategy, corporate development, marketing and fundraising.
From 2002 to 2006, he served in several production and management roles at CIBC World Markets, specifically Managing Director, Co-Head of Equity Trading and Head of Sales Trading.
At CIBC World Markets, Mr. Geisman was recruited to US Equities to realign the core business and increase productivity and profitability.
From 2002 to 2006 CIBC World Markets profitably doubled their institutional market share from 0.08% to 1.9% and realigned their institutional sales, trading, research and banking platform to focus on middle market companies.
From 2001 to 2002, he was an integral managing member of the Sandler O'Neill rebuilding team after 9/11.
At Sandler, Mr. Geisman was responsible for all aspects of NASDAQ trading and led a team rebuilding Sandler's institutional trading platform including corporate development, product development and technology.
From 1993 to 2001, he held several positions within Citigroup Equity Sales and Trading.
Specifically his focus was on trading financial institutions where he led his trading sector group from 1999 to 2001.
At Citigroup, he took an active part in the expansion of the Smith Barney platform to the Citigroup global institutional platform and was an integral part of a team that created the number one institutional equity volume trading platform.
Mr. Geisman graduated with a degree in finance from Boston University in 1993.
