Richard R.
Riegler has been Vice President-Engineering and Environmental Affairs of Aqua America, Inc. since May 2006.
He is a Director of Water for People, the Philadelphia Opera Guild, the Settlement Music School and Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association of Philadelphia.
Mr. Riegler was Senior Vice President-Operations of Philadelphia Suburban Water Company from April 1989 to January 1999, Chief Engineer from 1982 to 1984, Vice President and Chief Engineer from 1984 to 1986 and Vice President of Operations from 1986 to 1989.
Previously, he was Senior Vice President-Engineering and Environmental Affairs from January 1999 to May 2006.
Mr. Riegler joined Aqua Pennsylvania in 1970 and became Senior Vice President-Operations in 1989.
He was Chairman of the Pennsylvania Section and the Resources Division of the American Water Works Association.
Mr. Riegler was a Member of the Advisory Committees of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources, the Delaware River Basin Commission and the Water Resources Association of the Delaware River Basin.
He received a degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.
