Major General Robert H.
McMahon is an Operating Advisor to Liberty Hall and has over 45 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
General McMahon served in the United States Air Force from 1974 – 2012.
Most recently, General McMahon served as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment, providing oversight of logistics policies, practices, and efficiencies to enable readiness across the Department of Defense and managed over $170 billion in logistics operations.
Prior to serving as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment, he served as Director of C-17 Field Operations for The Boeing Company.
During his military career, General McMahon held multiple positions in the United States Air Force, including military assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment and Logistics, Director of Logistics and Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters U.S.
Air Force, and Commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
General McMahon earned his B.S.
in International Affairs from the United States Air Force Academy and his M.S.
in Logistics Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
