Siddharth Agarwal

Brief Siddharth started his journey as a VC after an eclectic mix of consulting and operating roles across BCG, Paytm and Ecom Express.
As a result of his operating experience across payments and logistics, key enablers for commerce businesses, he’s got a birds-eye view of the evolution of consumer internet businesses in India.
Siddharth is excited to partner with passionate founders who are building marketplaces, D2C brands and other consumer internet businesses.
At Ecom Express, Siddharth was the head of strategy where he conceptualized several new products to digitize the journey of longtail merchants and new engagement models for delivery partners across 27k pin codes in India.
He led the maiden international expansion of the company into Bangladesh market and helped early private equity investors with one of the largest private secondary exits for FY21.
Siddharth was part of the senior leadership team at Paytm with multiple portfolios across merchant acquisition, banking alliances, business finance and merchant operations for 15 Mn+ offline merchants.
At BCG, Siddharth was the first consultant of the ‘Technology Advantage’ practice where he helped large businesses design and implement new strategies for the Digital era.
He developed a knack for technology since childhood, working on several HTML/Java projects during his free time.
He pursued his engineering in Computer Science from R.V.C.E and PGPM from Indian School of Business.
