Previously, Mr. Lawson was President of Citibank Russia from 1995 to 1997, Vice President and Director of Corporate Finance for Citibank London from 1988 to 1993, Vice President of Citibank Cairo from 1984 to 1985, Vice President of Citibank Nairobi from 1981 to 1984 and Manager of Citibank Edinburgh.
He also served as Vice President of Citibank Athens, Citibank Paris and Citibank Oslo.
He received an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
