Tom Thackeray

Tom Thackeray is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the global Private Equity Practice.
Tom works with clients across the lifecycle of private capital funds in EMEA. He leads senior appointments for the GP: fundraising (IR), investment, and operating professionals.
He is also responsible for managing relationships with private capital funds and delivering the power of Heidrick & Struggles’ to their portfolio business leadership requirements, pre- and post-acquisition.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Tom worked at a London-based boutique search firm specializing in appointments for private equity investment professionals and fundraisers, placement agents, and in-house IR teams in EMEA. Previously, Tom was a research associate for a London-based boutique search firm within its fixed income, currency, and commodity team.
