Will Tovey

Mr. William R.
Tovey is a Head of UK at Point72 Europe (London) LLP.
He is on the Board of Directors at Point72 UK Ltd. He is also a Managing Director.
He is responsible for managing the Firm’s operations in London.
Mr. Tovey is part of the team determining Point72’s strategy throughout the region and is responsible for hiring, supporting, and supervising the performance and professional development of the portfolio management teams in Europe.
He serves on the Board of The October Club charity organization.
He joined Point72 from Barclays where he was Co-Head of Equity Distribution in Europe and part of the team which helped build the European Equity business from its origination in 2009.
Prior to joining Barclays he was a Managing Director at UBS and the head of its European cash equity sales unit in London.
Mr. Tovey began his career as an equity analyst and fund manager for Mercury Asset Management.
Mr. Tovey received his BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Warwick.
