Winch Financial is an active manager which combines a top-down and bottom-up investment approach and tactically positions portfolios to take advantage of various economic and market environments. The firm’s investment team utilizes a deep-dive fundamental approach and applies fundamental and technical analysis to aid in the selection of securities. Winch Financial purchases securities with the idea of holding them in the client's account for a year or longer when they believe the securities to be currently undervalued and/or they want exposure to a particular asset class over time, regardless of the current projection for this class. The firm may also purchase securities with the idea of selling them within a relatively short time (typically a year or less) to take advantage of conditions that they believe will soon result in a price swing in the securities they purchase.
