Amy Polonchek

Ms. Polonchek has been a board member since January 2008.
She currently serves as Director of the Meridian Technology Center for Business Development.
The CBD is a business incubator that provides an entrepreneurial support system for start-up companies based on technology platforms.
She recently served as Executive Director for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
Appointed by Governor Brad Henry, she provided strategic direction and oversight to the agency's economic and community development activities.
Her background includes public and private sector experience.
She has expertise in a variety of areas, including economic and workforce development, technology commercialization, strategic management, finance and government relations.
Previously, Ms. Polonchek was the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Economist at the Department of Commerce, following a stint as Commerce's Deputy Director for Research.
She has been principal of a consulting group, executive director of a policy think tank, project manager in the telecommunications industry and served on the management team at the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.
Ms. Polonchek holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Michigan State University, and a Master of Science in Economics from Oklahoma State University.
