Mr. Baughan joined Ingenious in 2007 and manages discretionary portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and pension funds.
He began his career in the city at stockbrokers Hoare Govett (1966-88).
During that time he founded and ran the Hoare Govett Financial Services Group.Mr. Baughan then founded and was Managing Director of City Merchants Investment Management which eventually became Invesco part of AMVESCAP (1988-2004).
He managed private client portfolios and was a global partner.
This business was subsequently sold to Singer & Friedlander where he was an Investment Director and senior adviser to the chief executive.

Mr. Baughan is a Fellow of the Securities Institute.
