Chris Chen

Mr. Tu Hsin Chen is Client Portfolio Manager at Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) Ltd. He provides a link between the investment team and the sales team.
A key part of his role is to deliver Mirae Asset's product strategies externally aimed at expanding the firm's global coverage.
Mr. Chen joined BlackRock's Asia Pacific Multi-Asset Strategies team where he was responsible for executing portfolio construction and asset allocation solutions for clients in the region, and coordinating communications of the team's capabilities and products.
Prior to joining BlackRock, he was a Product Specialist at Allianz Global Investors covering the Global Balanced mandates managed in Hong Kong, as well as having an equity research coverage of the ASEAN media sector.
Before starting his career in the asset management industry, Chris was a professional classical musician, appointed to the solo Cor Anglais chair of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
Mr. Chen holds a dual Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering and Music from Northwestern University, as well as an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
He is a CFA charter holder.
