Kim is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Power Device Business for Fairchild Semiconductor International, Inc. and President of Fairchild Korea Semiconductor Ltd. He was Senior Vice President and President of Fairchild Korea Semiconductor Ltd. until April 1999.
Dr. Kim joined Samsung Electronics' Power Device Business in 1990 as Director of Power Product Development and was Managing Director, Vice President and General Manager of Power Device Business.
Prior to joining Samsung Electronics, he held various engineering and development positions at Goldstar Semiconductor, AMI and General Electric.
