Tyler is President & Chief Investment Officer at Preserver Partners LLC.
Prior to founding Preserver in July 2009, Dr. Tyler served as a Partner at Gerber/Taylor Capital Advisors, a consulting and fund management firm, and president of its institutional consulting subsidiary.
From 1996-1999, Dr. Tyler was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Memphis.
Dr. Tyler was previously employed as an Assistant Professor by University of Memphis.
He also served on the board at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Foundation, Inc and Lifeblood Foundation.
He was also Board Member of Bridges, Inc., The University of Tennessee Alumni Board of Governors, Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being, Methodist Sickle Cell Advisory Council and Gestalt Community Schools.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from The University of Tennessee, a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D.
in Finance from The Florida State University.
He is a CFA charterholder.
