Dr. George Lo is Chief Investment Officer at Lloyds TSB Bank Plc.
Dr. Lo started as an academic economist.
Having been born and educated in Hong Kong, he went on to study at universities in North America, writing his dissertation under the supervision of Nobel Laureate Edward Prescott.
He taught economics for five years while conducting research in the areas of the rational expectations approach to business cycles, money and banking and financial economics.
He then moved to Geneva where he managed various high risk/reward funds for Lloyds International Private Banking.
