Presidio's investment objective seeks to obtain a current return and a capital gain upon divestment. The investment strategy focuses on unlisted small and medium-sized firms primarily based in Italy. They provide equity and mezzanine financing for acquisitions, expansions, recapitalizations, mergers, industrial reorganizations and LBO transactions. They also consider opportunistic investments in Europe in particular for Italian firms' expansion projects. Presidio looks for firms with turnovers ranging between EUR 50 million and 250 million. They typically invest from EUR 2.5 million to EUR 30 million in each transaction. Presidio generally invests in firms active in relatively mature sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, construction and building and services industries. They seek firms displaying stable cash-flows, substantial growth prospects and firms with high profitability levels. Other investment criteria are firms with a leading market position and run by experienced management teams. They look for firms capable of generating value for shareholders.
