Clarium Capital Management is a broadly opportunistic investment adviser that seeks superior long-term capital appreciation and pursues attractive absolute returns through high-conviction, directional investments across a wide range of asset classes. The firm generally seeks to express their views over a multi-year time horizon, with less emphasis on liquidity. While private equity investments, currently comprise substantially all of their clients’ portfolio investments, their strategy may at times involve the trading of public equities, futures contracts and other derivatives (including securities futures contracts), spot currencies, bonds and such other instruments. Clarium attempt to time trades by using various quantitative and qualitative market- and sentiment-based indicators. In general, the firm seeks to enter a trade when it is contrary to what most participants in the market believe and how they are positioned.

Altegris seeks to minimize investor risk while maximizing potential returns. The firm follows a disciplined process for identifying, evaluating, selecting, and monitoring investment talent across a spectrum of alternative strategies, including managed futures, global macro, long/short equity, event-driven, and others. The Investment Committee generally (i) performs an ongoing top-down strategy review to determine any potential opportunities for the lineup of strategies recommended by, or allocated to, by the firm and (ii) directs the Altegris’ research team as to a bottom-up approach to identify potential managers or strategies that may meet their performance objectives and investment strategy themes.

Artivest Advisors manages the Commodities Supercycle Artivest Trust ETF. The fund seeks long-term total returns though the pursuit of an active strategy of primarily taking long and short positions in equity and fixed income securities. They target securities whose performance is driven in part by commodity price movements, taking into account price trends that result from global natural resource scarcity. The fund invests assets in securities of both domestic and foreign issuers and may use other types of securities, including derivatives, to a more limited extent.

Edelman's objective is to uncover and invest in U.S., French, Swiss and Canadian companies with under-performing stock prices relative to their net asset value, and to take an active role in working with the management of these companies to realize full value.
