Kimsey served as the Founding Director of Capital One Financial Corp.
and held various director positions in companies such as Batterson Venture Partners LLC, JER Investors Trust, Inc., Triple Canopy, Inc., International Crisis Group, American Film Institute, Inc., National Symphony Orchestra, Innisfree Foundation, Inc., The Washington Scholarship Fund, Washington National Opera, and District of Columbia College Access Program.
He also served as Chairman of Education Media, Inc., Refugees International, Inc., The Kimsey Foundation, and International Commission of Missing Persons.
Kimsey received his undergraduate degree from the US Military Academy and Georgetown University.
