Mr. Joseph F.
Molloy is a Head of Index & Systematic Equity at HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd. He is also the Head of Equity Portfolio Management team within HSBC Global Asset Management in London and has been working in the financial industry since 1998.
He is responsible for the management of the team, which has an extensive fund range expanding across traditional index, ETF, alternatively-weighted and multi-factor strategies, in both pooled and segregated structures.
Prior to joining HSBC in March 2015, Mr. Molloy was Global Head of Index Equities at Legal & General Investment Management, where he had been employed since 2008.
Over his career he has accumulated extensive experience as a senior portfolio manager for many portfolios across a variety of strategies.
He started his investment management career with Gulf International Bank as a portfolio dealer on the dealing desk.
He graduated with a BA in Business & Finance from London’s South Bank University (UK) in May 1995.
He is a current member of the FTSE Country Classification Committee.
