Kuda Kadungure

Mr. Kudakwashe Kadungure is a Head of Research at Kela Securities (Pty) Ltd. Before coming to head Kela Securities’ equity research department, Mr. Kadungure was at Investec Securities, where he was the lead analyst on Sub Sahara African (SSA) Breweries and Telecoms, including fintech and tower leasing companies.
He achieved a Tier 1 rating as a Telecoms analyst and was also instrumental in securing Investec Securities’ participation on both Helios Towers Nigeria and IHS Towers IPO efforts.
Prior to that Mr. Kadungure was with Imara SP Reid’s African securities team, achieving Top 5 rankings for coverage of SSA Breweries and FMCG sectors in the 2014 Euromoney Africa Survey for Best Research Houses in SSA. Before that He was at Securities Africa Ltd and then LiquidAfrica (Pty) Ltd, both pioneering pan-African stockbrokers.
He holds a B.Soc.Sci Politics, Philosophy & Economics and B.Com (Honours) in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management, both from the University of Cape Town.
