Pohlman is Chief Investment Officer at Alfred Berg Asset Management (US).
Prior to joining Alfred Berg in 2010, Dr. Pohlman was Director of Research for Wellington Management and at PanAgora.
Before joining PanAgora, he was a Senior Vice President and the Director of Fixed Income Research at Independence Investment Associates.
Previous to that, he was a Vice President at Blackrock Financial Management, where he worked in their portfolio engineering group, and was an Associate in Mortgage Securities Research at Goldman Sach & Co.
Dr. Pohlman holds his PhD, Masters of Philosophy, MBA, MS, and BS from Columbia University.
He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Finance Association, Econometric Society, and the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
