Michael B. Kirwan

Mr. Michael B. Kirwan is Partner at Foley & Lardner LLP (Venture Capital).
He counsels business clients in corporate organization, finance and securities.
Mr. Kirwan has worked on numerous public and private offerings, represented many companies on their periodic reporting obligations and other matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, represented REITs, formed hedge funds and handled a variety of business combinations and venture capital matters.
He has significant experience in banking and insurance transactions.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Kirwan was a partner in the Corporate Finance Department at a large New York firm.
He then became the executive vice president and chief operating officer for a national technology consulting firm.
Mr. Kirwan received his J.D.
from Harvard Law School in 1988.
He received his bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Duke University in 1984.
