Musthaq Ahmad Ibrahim

Mr. Mushthaq Ahmad Ibrahim, MBA, BSc, Chief Investment Officer, holds a Master of Business Administration from the Governors State University, USA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Finance from Southeast Missouri State University, USA. He has over 16 years of experience in the fund management industry, managing funds and developing investment products in Malaysia and Singapore.
He started his career in fund management as an Investment Officer/Analyst in the Investment Department of Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad and spent about 7 years, managing portfolio of equities and bonds of various local and international clients.
He spent about 2 years within the Amanah Capital Partners Berhad’s (ACP) asset management subsidiaries as Senior Fund Manager before being appointed as the General Manager of Singapore Unit Trusts Ltd. (formerly a wholly owned subsidiary of ACP).
He was later appointed as the General Manager, Special Projects in ACP.
He joined Asia Unit Trusts Berhad in 2001 as the Chief Executive Officer.
In September 2004, he was appointed as the Chief Investment Officer of Amanah SSCM and is the Chairman of Amanah SSCM’s Strategy Committee.
He holds a Fund Manager’s Representative licence issued by the SC under the Securities Industry Act 1983 in 2004.
