Bannan, CFA, is a Managing Director at CIBC Private Wealth Advisors, Inc. She is also a Head of Equities for CIBC Private Wealth Management.

Previously, she managed large-core portfolios for the mutual fund and wealth channels and was head of the Large-Cap Core Growth Team at Evergreen Investments.
She began her career in 1982 at Phoenix Investment Counsel, where she served in analytical, portfolio management and leadership roles.
She has also held senior portfolio management positions at Prudential Investments and CGU Investments.
Her experience has been centered on the analysis and portfolio management of large-cap quality companies serving the mutual fund, institutional and wealth management arenas.
She graduated from the Peter T.
Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an economics concentration.
She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
