Prior to founding EdgePoint, Mr. Farmer headed up North American retail investments at Invesco Ltd. where he was responsible for overseeing approximately $130 billion in assets and almost 100 investment professionals.
He served as the company’s executive vice president and CIO from 2000 to 2007, and as head of fixed-income investments from 1993 to 2001.
He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BA in Economics and becoming a CFA charterholder.
