Riggelson Ryan

Ryan Riggelson joined Grey Rock in 2016 and is the Executive Vice President of Engineering.
Mr. Riggelson leads the engineering team and is responsible for overseeing and performing reservoir engineering evaluations of new A&D opportunities, in addition to managing the reserves, production, and development of owned assets within Grey Rock’s portfolio.
He has more than 20 years of diverse experience in production, completions, and reservoir engineering roles, and leverages that experience to maximize value for Grey Rock’s investors.
Mr. Riggelson is a member of the Valuation Committee.
Prior to joining Grey Rock, Mr. Riggelson was most recently a Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer with EP Energy, responsible for New Ventures evaluations and leading the development of their operated Haynesville asset.
Mr. Riggelson’s initiatives played an instrumental role in significantly increasing the value of the Haynesville asset, and he led the technical component of EP’s $400-Million Haynesville sale in 2016.
Through the course of his career Mr. Riggelson has also held roles of increasing responsibility at Talisman Energy (now Repsol), Apache, and Encana (now Ovintiv).
Mr. Riggelson holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary.
