Tom Tucker

Mr. Tucker started the Calgary based energy operations for EdgeStone in January 2007.
Prior to joining EdgeStone, he was the co-founder and Managing Director of BT Energy Holdings Ltd, a Calgary-based private equity fund targeting oil & gas investments in small to medium sized Canadian companies.
Mr. Tucker has sat on the Board of seven of these investee companies.
From 1999 to 2005 he was in Australia.
He was an Investment Director and founding member of Ironbridge Capital Fund I a half billion generalist MBO fund.
Prior to Ironbridge, he was an Investment Director at another private equity manager, Gresham Private Equity, where he also spent a year on secondment in the UK with co-investor Bridgepoint Capital.
Previous to private equity, Mr. Tucker was an investment banker focused on the North American energy industry.
He worked with Warburgs and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Mr. Tucker currently serves on the Board of Directors of Richmount Petroleum and Hunter Energy.
He earned a Bachelor of Economics from Princeton University.
In 2005, he began a charity called T4T that raises awareness and donations for brain tumour organizations in several countries.
