William D.
Novelli is the founder of Porter Novelli, Inc., which was founded in 1972.
He served as the President of the company.
Currently, he holds the position of Chairman at Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and Tobacco Free Kids.
He is also the Director of Strategic Partnerships LLC and a Professor at McDonough School of Business since 2009.
In his former positions, he was the Chief Executive Officer of AARP Financial, Inc. from 2000 to 2009 and the Chief Executive Officer of AARP, Inc. (District of Columbia) from 2001 to 2009.
He also served as the Vice Chairman of KaBOOM!, Inc., an Independent Director at Tivity Health, Inc., and a Director at the National Italian American Foundation, Inc. Additionally, he was a Director at the American Cancer Society, Inc. from 2017 to 2020.
Dr. Novelli completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a doctorate degree from New York University.
