Kiefer has been Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering for Cray, Inc. since September 2004.
He held various engineering management positions since joining Cray in April 2000.
From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Kiefer was Director of Hardware Engineering for the Cray Research Operations at Silicon Graphics, Inc. and held various engineering and engineering management positions at Univac and Cray Research, Inc. He received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
