Guy Labrunie has since 2000 been CEO of CEA Valorisation, where he initiated the seed and early stage investments activities.
In 2002, he further developed the activities of CEA Valorisation by setting up the IP trading activity.
Guy Labrunie is a graduate from Ecole Supérieure d’Optique.
He worked for 27 years at the LETI (Laboratoire d'Electronique et des Technologies de l'Information, CEA Grenoble) where he started as a researcher in opto-electronics before heading several units including the optronics department and the micro technologies department.
He then headed corporate R&D at BioMérieux for 3 years.
