Joon Chang

Mr. Chang, together with his two partners, founded Arkview Capital in 2020.
Prior to founding Arkview, Mr. Chang was a Managing Director at ZBI.
Most recently, Mr. Chang was a member of the Investment Committee at ZBI with broad responsibilities over the investment portfolio, as well as counterparty relationship management, including banking, advisory, and research.
Since 2010, Mr. Chang held various roles within ZBI, including working on special investment projects for one of the Ziff brothers and most recently the overall Investment Group.
Prior to joining ZBI in 2010, Mr. Chang worked at Citadel in the Principal Investments Group, which managed Citadel’s event driven hedge fund strategy.
Prior to joining Citadel in 2008, Mr. Chang worked at a private equity fund, Madison Dearborn Partners (“MDP”), as a generalist.
While at MDP, Mr. Chang was involved with the acquisition of The Topps Company and the announced Bell Canada transaction.
Prior to joining MDP in 2006, Mr. Chang worked in the Investment Banking Division of Citigroup.
He was a member of the Financial Sponsors Group and was involved with the LBOs of Dunkin' Brands and Dollarama, as well as a number of debt and equity financing transactions.
Mr. Chang holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School.
Mr. Chang lives in Closter, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
He enjoys spending time with his family and participating in Church activities.
