Michael Messersmith

Michael Messersmith is a member of the New York State Bar Association and The District of Columbia Bar.
He previously worked as a Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at American Capital Ltd. from 2005 to 2017.
He also worked as an Attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and as an Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
Additionally, he was a Vice President at American Capital Asset Management LLC from 2005 to 2010.
Mr. Messersmith holds a graduate degree from Harvard University, an undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston, and a graduate degree from Georgetown University.
He is currently employed in his roles at the New York State Bar Association and The District of Columbia Bar.
