Moritz Lubczyk

Mr. Moritz Lubczyk is a Researcher at ZEW-Leibniz-Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung.
He joined ZEW’s Research Department “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics” in 2018.
His research interests include industrial organization, entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic history.
In particular, his work focuses on the economic analysis of firm foundations and closures.
Currently, he is investigating the development of firm dynamics following German reunification and post-reunification privatizations in East Germany.
He studied business and economics at the University of Mannheim, at Sciences Po Paris and at Stockholm University.
He is a pursuing a PhD at the University of Zurich.
