Ricky Roman

Ricky Roman - Investment Director Ricky Roman is based in Cathay Capital’s New York office.
Ricky joined Cathay in 2020, and he focuses mainly on healthcare and life sciences investments in North America.
Prior to joining Cathay, Ricky was the Vice President of Operations for Refresh Mental Health, a national multi-unit mental health platform formed and backed by the private equity firm Lindsay Goldberg.
Prior to this, he spent five years at Wexford Capital, an opportunistic public and private investment firm, where he executed and monitored control buyouts and growth equity investments across industry verticals.
Ricky began his career within Citigroup’s investment banking division in New York.
Ricky graduated from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a BBA in Finance and Accounting (with high distinction).
He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was a Zell Fellow.
