Rong Xie

Rong Xie, D.B.A., is a Managing Director at Vivo Capital.
Dr. Xie has nearly 20 years of experience in the investment banking and securities market in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Vivo, Dr. Xie served as Executive President at Guodu Securities.
Prior to that, he served as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, and as the Deputy General Manager of Morgan Stanley Huaxin Securities and Chairman of its Investment Banking Committee.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Xie worked at JP Morgan Chase Bank, PwC, and China Galaxy Securities.
Dr. Xie received his Bachelor of Economics from the Capital University of Economics and Business and earned his Doctor of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
