Cendes is the founder who founded Ansoft Corp in 1984.
He held the titles of President, Chief Technology Officer & GM during his time at Ansoft Corp.
Dr. Cendes also held former positions as Director at ANSYS, Inc. and ScriptRx, Inc., as well as an Engineer at General Electric Co. He was a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University from 1982 to 1996 and an Associate Professor at McGill University from 1980 to 1982.
Dr. Cendes received his graduate and doctorate degrees from McGill University.
